Stone Hound’s Glovebox is a bicycle handlebar bag made from upcycled bicycle tire inner tubes.
Whether aiming to add a little childhood nostalgia or some genuine functionality to your bike, Stone Hound’s Glovebox is about 10 inches by 4 inches, which provides about 1 liter of cargo space, with the idea of holding the essentials for a ride like pump, spare tube and tool. Or, maybe just phone, keys and an extra layer. Or water and snacks. Imagine whatever it is that you might want to have with you but don’t necessarily want to have to carry on you.
The Glovebox (mtb), a.k.a. the short stem version, is narrow – about an inch and a half wide – and attaches with Velcro straps to hang directly beneath the handlebar, especially like those on short stem, modern mountain bikes.
This run of Gloveboxes is made from both mountain and road bike tubes. In addition to the tube rubber, the Glove box is made with new YKK zipper and new Velcro, and also includes a D-ring inside to secure your keys – if you want to keep them out of your pocket.

Stone Hound’s Glovebox is nearly impervious to adverse trail conditions. And with the sturdy tackiness of the tube rubber, the Glovebox rides with a minimum of movement and jostling, even on the roughest of trails.
Also, it’s probably worth mentioning that each glovebox saves at least two tubes from being otherwise thrown away in a landfill.
